Sunday Afternoon Blues or should I say Black?

It's that time of the weekend where I sit here thinking about what I am going to wear tomorrow to work. I am sure thousands of you go through this same thing every weekend. Trying to figure that out shouldn't be a hassle but yet it is. Why is that? 

We spend thousands of hours looking around our closets hoping to find something that we can live with for the 8 hours that we are at the office. Something classy but comfortable, form fitting but not too tight  and modern but not too flashy. We want all of these things wrapped up into one wonderful outfit but when we try to find something that truly encompasses all of these things we can't ever seem to find it ( well not in our closets that is!).  That's when panic sets in and we decide to just blow it off and wait until Monday at 7:30 a.m. to frantically pick a blouse and a pair of pants and run out the door. I know because I have been there many times! 

I am here to try and make that process a little less painful by giving you ideas on some of the pieces you can pair together that you probably already have in your closet. 

Let's start with a basic black blouse. A black blouse is one of the most essential articles of clothing you can own. It goes well with just about everything. You can pair it off with a creme colored skirt and some sexy leopard print heels. 

 

You can also pair it with a pair of grey pants a red belt  (wide or skinny depending on the blouse) and a pair of red heels (or flats). 

 

The possibilities are endless with black blouses so run to your closets and start playing around with some of the things you already have.  You will be surprised how far a little creativity can go. Get creative and save yourself some money in the process as well!
